Notable magical characteristics: Has the ability to influence others, persuading them to instantly take his side. His words effect emotions, causing a change of mood. This is a passive ability, however, when he actively uses his magic he can change a person's way of thinking and even cause others to act against their own will/desires. He only uses this in times of duress/threatened. Eventually he will discover he has the ability to become intangible (walk through solid objects) and blend into the shadows (invisibility). This will develop as his magical powers increase.
Offensive subjects: Mental Illness (slurs such as crazy, loony, retard, etc.), attacking his lifestyle choices (names such as manwhore, rentboy, slut)
Warnings: Matt is someone who is slow to anger, choosing to let insults slide off of him. However, attack his close friends or family and he will prove relentless in exacting justice or revenge depending on his mood.

IC permissions
General physical violence: He has taken a punch but will resort to using his mental mind control to defend against serious attacks. Ask before any permanent damage (broken bones, loss of limbs, etc.) occurs.
Injuring this character: Cuts and bruises are fine. Permanent damage must be plot driven and discussed prior to the event.
Torturing this character: Matt can withstand a good bit of torture, however it is preferred that the situation is supported by plot and discussed before hand.
Killing this character: Unless there is good reason for Matt's death or it is merely temporary, I would prefer to avoid any death story arcs. Again, discussion of the plot must occur before character death.
Mental/emotional torment: This is what will drive a lot of Matt's storyline. The character is available for torment.
Physical intimacy: Matt is an incredibly physical person. He shows affection through hugs, kisses, touches. He enjoys casual sex with men and women.
Romance: Matt is a hopeless romantic. While his relationships tend to be brief, they are intense. When there is something more than simple physical attraction, Matt will throw himself completely into a relationship. Romance can also b non-sexual. Matt can fall in love with people he considers close friends, having an intimate relationship without having sex.
Using magic on this character: Matt is susceptible to magic. Discuss before hand if you are interested in casting a spell on him.
Using telepathy/mind reading abilities on this character: A telepath will discover a world of chaos inside Matt's mind. Because his abilities are also mental/emotional he is far more sensitive in picking up when he is being probed and will push the person out as long as he is strong enough.
Using mind control on this character: Anyone with a higher/stronger ability is welcomed to try, however, since this is his specialty, be prepared for a struggle.

Notes/Other: Matt is a fun-loving, carefree spirit. He is the center of attention and a very loyal friend. Cross him, however, and you will discover you've made a dangerous enemy. Be thankful if he chooses to ignore you.
